Dale Martin has been designated a Master Pastelist by the Pastel Society of America. He is also a signature member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast and Knickerbocker Artists. He creates his award-winning paintingson location and in the studio. Martin has exhibited in one-man showsat such venues as the A. R. Mitchell Museum in Trinidad, Colorado, and the Woolaroc Museum, Bartlesville, Oklahoma. His work is included in the book, Pure Color: The Best of Pastel. His paintings have appeared on the covers of Pastel Journal and Sedona Monthly, as well as in 200 Great Painting Ideas for Artists, Southwest Art, and Oklahoma Today. Martin teaches workshops and shows his work across the United States. His paintings are in museums and in private and corporate collections, including those of General Motors, IBM, Northwestern University, Oklahoma Natural Gas, and the State of New Mexico Art in Public Places Project. |
